WE FINISHED THE WALK-but not the fight!

The temperature was a damp and windy 37 degrees and check-in was at 8:30 am. Fairy Godmothers are not known to be early risers, but here we were--ready to roll. We had our pictures taken with our honoree's names. One for Suzanne Farris (currently fighting MS), and one in memory of Phyllis Daniels (whose death was due to MS).
Team Fairy Godmothers was the top fund raising team. Donations can still be accepted until June 1 by sending a check to Janel made out to NMSS, or logging in to www.walknen.nationalmssociety.org and making an e-donation. Don't forget to designate Team Fairy Godmothers.
Thank you to all who supported the MS Walk-Grand Island.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you

While we have been training (I have been swimming 4 mornings a week) and Nytha, Mary Kay and Marni get plenty of exercise routinely--you, dear contributors, have raised 2055.00 as of May 11. We are so grateful for the generous support of our cause--to find a cure for multiple sclerosis. With your help, we pray that our children and our children's children will never have to know the devastation of this disease.
Again, Thank you. With love from the Fairy Godmothers

Multiple sclerosis is a debilitating neurologic disease with no known cause and no known cure. 400,000 Americans live with MS and more are diagnosed every day. You can learn more about our cause by visiting www.nationalmssociety.org/.

The National MS Society, State Chapters and corporate sponsors are sponsoring thousands of MS Walks and MS Bike Rides across the United States to raise money to fund research and assist individuals who need help living with this disease.

You can help us fight MS by donating to Team Fairy Godmothers on or before April 25th (Janel's birthday). Any amount, large or small, is greatly appreciated. To make a pledge in support of our team's efforts, please click on this link: http://main.nationalmssociety.org/site/TR/Walk/NENWalkEvents?team_id=54176&pg=team&fr_id=10103.

Thank you from all of us who would like to see MS cured as soon as possible.
